You probably hate debts between friends just as much as I do. A friend from college has gone out to solve the problem at BillMonk, a free service which still lacks some functionality I want, but otherwise is very usable. I’ll stick with it for a while to see how responsive the “Code Monks” are to the countless emails I sent today. :)
On my wishlist:
- repeating shared bills
- debt summary converted to default currency
- SMS service for Europe
- online payments without it trying to be a bank (like Paypal)
- automatic regular reminders
- less of an American interface. “IOU” is incredibly lame, especially if most people “O” me.
