Rating with stars (or whatever)

If you're about to evaluate something with four out of five stars (or whatever), please, pretty please with sugar on top, state in your review why you did not award all five! Seeing a 4/5 followed by a review that touts the benefits and still pretends to be objective is about as helpful as not reading the review at all. Well, at least it's not as helpful as it could be.

In general, I would wish that a review explained why the object did not receive 100% (if it got more than 50%), or why it got more than 0% (if it got less than half). That's probably the most use you can get out of any such scale.
