Aren’t “political monkeys, the media, and merciless capitalists” just giving people what they want? Wouldn’t it be more constructive to “rage” against the void in people’s education that allows them to not see the world as it is? Do you think the markets (including media) would offer something different if consumers understood the slightest bit of economics, psychology, history, and our animal nature?
